Dear African festival Tübingen family,

Accept warm greetings from Tübingen, though not very warm again! On the behalf of our association AFRIKAKTIV e.V Tübingen and the organizing team of the 5th Intern. African Festival Tübingen, i´ll like to express our gratitude for your participation and support during 5th Edition of Tübingen African festival this year.

Honestly,  i understand that it wasn´t a successful year for us and since then we have been working to make adjustments so as to ensure a profitable 2015 market for you. The goodnews is that we have reduced the stand prices for 2015 as you will find on the registration form attached in this mail, again all the prices are free from income tax (MWST), meaning you may chose to pay with or without MWST.
As you can see the dates of Tübingen are really changing – Thursday 23 – Sunday 26 JULY 2015 and this makes organization very expenses and complicated but it is not our fault as these dates are given to us by the city, we don´t have an infuence on it.

As from next year, the festival entire programm shall focus on one African country so as promote and give an overview of that country, its people, culture, business opportunities, projects and more. The Republic of Cameroon is the focus country for 2015,  Republic of Tansania 2016.

The city of Reutlingen is negotiating to get the festival in Reutlingen in August, date is not yet fix, you shall be informed when everything is clear.

We are currently rounding up with the 2014 Tübingen Africa Festival Reports, which i shall send to you as soon as available, please we appreciate your critics and feedback so that we may learn from it and make corrections, for unity is strength and nobody is perfect. We all make mistakes but a foolish one is one that fails to take corrections.

The last point is that we have created a seperate HOMEPAGE for our association – AFRIKAKTIV e.V, it is still under construction till end of this month, i shall send the link of you all and please take sometime and read about our projects and activities but MOST OF ALL REGISTER TO BECOME A MEMBER. By being a member you shall benefit from reduction prices  from all our festivals and upcoming projects .
