It is now raining in parts of Somalia for the first time in years, a time when crucial crops should be planted.
But farmers are among the hundreds of thousands of displaced people in Mogadishu, the capital.
Many fear going back because of a lack of money and security, with the armed group al-Shabab now controlling many of the areas from where they had fled.
Without a harvest, the Somali people will continue to rely on outside help for years to come.
