Police in Grapevine, Texas have discovered the bodies of seven people shot to death inside an apartment, according to the AFP.
Texas authorities believe that the shooter committed suicide after the massacre and is among the seven found dead.

Their ages ranged from 18 to 60, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Grapevine Police Sergeant Robert told the WSJ that police who came to the apartment were responding to a 911 call during which "no one was saying anything" at the other end of the phone line.
According to police, those shot had just opened their Christmas gifts and were cleaning up wrapping paper.
The bodies were found "in an adjoining kitchen and living room area when police entered the apartment shortly after 11:30 a.m."
Eberlingsaid that two handguns were found near the bodies.The apartment was located in the affluent neighborhood of Colleyville, Grapevine, which CNN reported is located about 25 miles northwest of Dallas.
