America's Next Top Model apparently still has some life left in it. Just when you thought Tyra Bank's aging reality show about aspiring models had done every single wacky and crack-tastic thing it could think of, last night's finale proved otherwise with a shocking last minute contestant disqualification.

The episode was going according to plan (the girls all failed the Cover Girl commercial challenge and then did a ridiculous runway show that involved water and harnesses), but then a jarring bit of editing revealed that something had gone very wrong with America's Next Top Model All-Stars.

"We're back in Los Angeles on the Top Model set and we're here for a special finale that's being conducted under unusual circumstances," Tyra Banks announced during a jarring scene that had clearly been added to the finale after initial Top Model filming had wrapped.
"It turns out, our production team and the network learned information from Angelea [Preston] that disqualifies her from the competition," explained judge
Nigel Barker.

So what was the reason for the surprise ouster that ultimately led to Lisa D'Amato's last minute victory? Fans are pointing to a now deleted post on Angelea Preston's
Facebook page that may have given away spoilers about the finale, including who the top 3 finalists were. Some fans have even suggested that Angelea likely won the competition originally, although the CW network has not commented on that.

Preston has yet to directly address the Top Model controversy, but after last night's airing the aspiring model seemed to be doing just fine.
