The Speaker of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), Margaret Nantongo Zziwa Tuesday afternoon received a heroic welcome at Entebbe Airport upon her return from Arusha.

Atop her official Mercedes Benz, Zziwa waved to her supporters including MPs of the Ugandan Parliament.

She was driven in a procession from Entebbe to Kampala. Zziwa becomes the first woman to head the regional body in the capacity of Speaker.
