Always theatrical: Will Smith embraced his son Jaden - who wore a bizarre penguin suit - while promoting their new sci-fi film After Earth in Taipei, Taiwan on Friday.

Peace out: Father and son threw up their hands as they stood in front of the crowded audience in the Chinese state
Adoring fans: Will touches people's hands and signs autographs outside of the event
I'm watching you: Jaden playfully pulls a stern face as he points to the camera while his father chats with television journalists

He has showcased his oddball fashion sense as he and his father Will Smith promote their new film around the world.
But Jaden Smith's outfit on Friday takes the cake as the strangest of the lot.

The 14-year-old's black-and-white ensemble could best be described as a penguin suit as he and his father attended a news conference for their sci-fi flick After Earth on Friday in Taipei, Taiwan.
The budding clothing designer's fashion line MSFTS has been described as 'casual wear with an edgy twist', and by the looks of it the results are more bizarre than they are fashionable.
Jaden wore white knee-length shorts over black trousers, paired with a white shirt sporting a black front and sleeves.
He teamed the strange outfit with black Nike trainers and accessorised with a long black beaded necklace.

Explaining his strange fashion sense, Jaden has said: 'I have this image in my head of what I think an amazing fashion person would look like, and I really just take whatever I would want to wear and I just put it on.'
Will, meanwhile, looked handsome in a brown suit and black tie paired with smart dress shoes.
Father and son looked to be having a ball during the event as they kidded around together onstage in the East Asian city.

Will was his usual goofy self, pulling faces and acting theatrically onstage as Jaden followed his famous father's lead.
The pair were also seen taking photos with throngs of screaming fans, who held their smartphones and cameras in the air as they vied to get a photo of the megastar duo.
Will and Jaden have been traveling through Asia to promote director M. Night Shyamalan's latest movie.

The film is a survival story about a son who must rescue his father after they crash land on a futuristic Earth.
Jaden portrays Kitai Raige and Will portrays his on-screen father, Cypher Raige. They also had father-son roles in the 2006 feel-good homeless drama, The Pursuit of Happyness.
After Earth sees the pair strengthen their father-son bond as Kitai fights wild animals and an alien creature to get the help his father needs.
The movie is due out May 31 in the U.S. and June 7 in the UK.
