Chris Brown spent his holiday weekend giving back. The “Fine China” singer donated sneakers to kids at Crenshaw High School during the “WE US: Walk Everywhere in Unity’s Shoes” event in L.A. on Saturday. Breezy shared a laugh with his young fans as he posed for photos.
As part of his Unity campaign, Chris works with the L.A. mayor’s office and gang reduction organizations. He gave away 1,000 pairs of Reeboks to youth in Compton and Baldwin Village to remind young people that “whenever and whenever they walk, we are a united community.”
He called on Team Breezy L.A. to help him sort boxes and pass out shoes. They stayed up until 1 a.m. packing the truck.
“Thank you for allowing me to continue to inspire change in the world. Today was a great step forward!” tweeted Chris.
