Main man: Floyd Mayweather Jr (centre) on his arrival in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he hopes to 'resuscitate' boxing in the country during a six day visit

Floyd Mayweather is ready to name Amir Khan as his opponent for his ring return on May 3 within the next week.
As Sportsmail exclusively revealed last October, the 27-year-old from Bolton is set to hit the jackpot with a dream bout against the unbeaten world light-middleweight champion in Las Vegas.
Khan confirmed earlier this month that he had already signed a contract to fight the pound-for-pound No 1.

And now Mayweather, who is on a week-long tour of South Africa, is ready to confirm the deal.
The 36-year-old was also considering a fight with Marcos Maidana who inflicted a first defeat on Adrien Broner last month.
But Broner has excercised his right to a rematch and will have his chance for immediate revenge in the spring.

Mayweather also confirmed he was in no rush to give long-time rival Manny Pacquiao the chance to end his unbeaten record.
‘I offered Manny Pacquiao the fight before,’ he said.
‘We didn’t see eye to eye on terms. Years later we come back and I try and make the fight happen again. I offer him $40 million. He said he wanted 50-50. So we didn’t make the fight happen.
‘All of a sudden, he loses to Timothy Bradley, he loses to [Juan Manuel] Marquez... he has tax problems now.
So, two losses and tax problems later, now he all of a sudden want to say: “You know what? I’d do anything to make the fight happen,” when he’s really saying: “Floyd, can you help me solve my tax problems, get me out of debt?”’
