The Football Association have been unable to reach a decision on the Luis Suarez-Patrice Evra race case after hearing two days of evidence.

The three-man panel was expected to deliver its verdict today, but instead issued the following statement: "The Independent Regulatory Commission has confirmed there will be no decision this evening and will continue working through the weekend. There will be no announcement on any decision before Tuesday 20 December 2011 at the earliest."
Suárez is facing a lengthy ban and a heavy fine if he is found guilty Football Association disciplinary committee ruled the Uruguayan did racial abuse Evra during Liverpool's Premier League encounter against United at Anfield in October.
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish was among those delivering witness statements on Suárez's behalf at the case hearing in Manchester today.
Evra accused Suárez of racial abuse immediately after the match at Anfield on Oct 15, telling French television station Canal Plus that he had used a racist insult to him ”at least 10 times”.
As revealed in Telegraph Sport on Thursday, Suárez admitted using the term ‘negro’ to Evra once, but insisted this was not racially motivated.
