It’s official, when it comes to the greatest songs of the 2000s this generation’s baddest chick in the game reigns supreme.
Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love,” which features hubby Jay-Z, tops VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of 00s list. Not only does Mrs. Knowles-Carter have the number-one song of the decade. She also shows up in two other slots in the Top 50 at #16 for “Single Ladies” and at #19 with her sisters in song Destiny’s Child for “Bootylicious.”
Jay-Z also appeared solo on the list at #21 for “99 Problems,” but it was clear that collaborations provided some of the hottest tracks over the last 10 years. The proud papa-to-be also was featured at #8 for Alicia Keys’s “Empire State of Mind” and for his rhyme contributions to Rihanna’s “Umbrella” at number 11. Other big hits rounding out the Top 50 include, “Golddigger” by Kanye West, featuring Jamie Foxx, clocked in at #6, the #27 spot was owned by “Yeah!” (Usher featuring Lil' Jon and Ludacris) and “SexyBack” by Justin Timberlake, featuring Timbaland, is at #7.
Viewers can expect an all-star group of guest artists talking heads including Kelly Rowland and Lil’ Jon to provide stories and commentary on all the charttopping hits.
