The theme of this year’s World Economic Forum is ‘Delivering on Africa’s promise’ and aims to deepen the current integration agenda and renew commitment to a sustainable path of growth and development.
President Kenyatta will also take part in a session "Africa 2063: From fragility to stability". During the Forum, the President is also expected to host a conversation on the future of Kenya.
Tanzania President Jakaya Kikwete, Ethiopia Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn, Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan, Benin's Thomas Yayi Boni, President James Alix Michel of Seychelles, and King Mswati III of Swaziland are expected to attended the forum at the Convention Centre of the Westin Grand Hotel.
The President is accompanied by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, Attorney General Githu Muigai and Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary Thuita Mwangi, among other senior government officials.
